Information from A to Z
Animals on board
- Animals travel free of charge.
- Passengers with dogs or small pets, are assigned seats by the staff as long as there is a sufficient number of free seats available in the dedicated section of the train.
Baby prams on board
Baby prams can be brought onboard Flytoget, the Airport Express Train without any additional costs.
Bicycles on board
Bicycles can be brought onto the train with no additional charge. Bicycles are to be fastened securely in the dedicated areas of the train.
Children travelling alone
A train journey can be an adventure for a child. It could be something the child is really looking forward to. In addition you can as a parent, be confident when your child is on board one of our trains. The commissioner for children in Norway recommends an age limit of 10 years when they are travelling alone. On longer journeys, where changes between trains are necessary the child should be above the age of 12. The Flytoget, the Airport Express Train company supports this policy and emphasizes that it is up to the parent(s) to assign their children’s maturity. It is recommended that an adult escorts the child the first couple of times, so they can get used to the journey until it is time for them to travel on their own. This way it will also be possible for the parent(s) to get a perception of the level of safety onboard Flytoget, the Airport Express Train.
The commissioner for children in Norway have worked out a brochure for parents with children who are travelling on their own .
Children travelling with an adult
Please contact the staff at the platform, so they can assist you past the barricade.

Luggage
Every train set has its own section for special luggage.
Luggage trolleys
- The luggage trolleys are available at Oslo Airport - Gardermoen, Lillestrøm, Oslo S and Sandvika stations.
- The trolleys cannot be used on board Flytoget, the Airport Express Train, in stairs or escalators.
- The deposit for luggage trolleys at Oslo S is 20 NOK (we also accept Euros). The deposit at Sandvika and Lillestrøm station is 10 NOK.
- There is no deposit for the baggage trolleys at Oslo Airport - Gardermoen.
Mobile phones
- Mobile phones can be used throughout the whole train journey.
- Mobile phones can be switched on in the quiet area of the train, but not operated in this section of the train (this area includes seats between 81 – 96).
Offers for disabled
- There are disabled toilets on board Flytoget, the Airport Express Train, and dedicated spaces for wheelchairs.
- There is an integrated ramp for getting onboard in a wheelchair. The staff onboard operates this ramp.
- All Flytoget Airport Express Train stations are adjusted for the ease of wheelchair users (elevator/ramp).
Offers for the physically handicapped
- If additional assistance is required, please ring the following number: 64 82 1772. Please arrange 24 hours beforehand.
- If the passenger should require assistance at Oslo Airport - Gardermoen, they can contact one of the service workers onboard Flytoget, the Airport Express Train.
- If assistance is needed on Flytoget Airport Express Train terminal, please alert the staff on board the train.
Payment
- Passengers can use cards like American Express, Visa, Master/Eurocard, Diners and bank Accept in addition to cash when they purchase tickets at the desks or the ticket vending machines.
- We do not accept foreign currency at Flytoget, the Airport Express Train ticket desks or vending machines.
- We do accept requisitions from airlines, as payment for tickets for Flytoget, the Airport Express Train.
Private vehicles and parking
- There are good parking facilities at most of Flytoget, the Airport Express Train stations.
- Flytoget, the Airport Express Train has no separate parkings paces, but passengers are welcome to use the parking facilities on or around the stations.
- Asker, Sandvika, Skøyen, Oslo S and Lillestrøm stations have their own parking garages.
- There are both long term and short-term parking.

Using your Flytoget Airport Express Train ticket on other means of transportation
Airport Express Bus
- A Flytoget Airport Express Train ticket (normal, paper ticket) can be used on the Airport Express Bus running for SAS, at stations where Flytoget, the Airport Express Train does not stop.
- The Airport Express Bus ticket cannot be used on Flytoget, the Airport Express Train.
Other trains
- Flytoget, the Airport Express Train ticket can not be used on regular NSB trains going to Oslo Airport - Gardermoen.
- NSB tickets and SL tickets cannot be used on Flytoget, the Airport Express Train.
